Since we at Too Chic Gift Boutique are proud Moms who have each worked in corporate America for years prior to starting our our own families, we've made a conscious decision to support companies that were founded on our same principles.
We actively seek unique items to offer our customers from small businesses that were founded by mothers who have found a way to juggle the demands of running a business while also maintaining a household! Although that is sometimes an impossible task to many, these women have managed to make it rewarding both personally and professionally.
In addition, since bringing children into the world we've realized that we want it to be as beautiful and safe a place as it is now for them, their children, and their children's children. We feel it is important to raise these kids in a fun and happy environment and to teach them that we all need to take care of one another.
With that said, we've found companies to support that allow us to do our small part in making this happen. Companies such as Art With a Cause that focuses on employing people with special needs; cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, cancer survivors, multiple sclerosis, and a variety of cognitive challenges as well as Claire V, known as a small company with a big heart. They support the plight of villagers in Cambodia still suffering the devastation of genocide .
